Case Study #1: "Lady Who Lunches"
CLIENT PROFILE: Right out of the society pages; married to a wealthy real estate mogel.
AGE: Late fifties/early sixties
LOCATION: Homes around the world
GOAL: This client wanted Amy to interpret a $38,000 dress by a well known European designer. The client loved the dress, but felt that her age and body type required a customized version in order to be flattering. She wanted it done for a high profile charitable event coming up in a few months time.
CHALLENGES: Amy would have to design the dress from scratch, from a magazine clipping.
AMY'S RX:
•Amy handpicked a seamstress she knew could handle the job.
•Amy oversaw the entire production from fabric selection to alterations to the final fitting.
OUTCOME: The client had the look she loved in a one-of-a-kind, perfect-fit dress that flattered her.

CLIENT PROFILE: Single, female financial advisor just promoted into her first really big job.

LOCATION: New York City
GOAL: This client first hired Amy to help her dress for an interview for the job of her dreams.
When she got the job, she turned to Amy to help her update her existing wardrobe until she started getting her fatter paychecks.
CHALLENGES: The client worked with mostly men and had a Marilyn Monroe figure. She needed a look that helped her fit in, and compete without loosing her own identity.

CHALLENGES: The client has a lot of expenses and is thoughtful with how she spends. She lives out of town and must work with Amy over the phone.
