Amy DiFrisco - Biography
The over abundance of unique and stylish clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories and gifts for men and women can be overwhelming.
Amy DiFrisco's trained eye, great taste, and years of experience in the market unlocks the treasure chest of secrets formerly known
only to fashion insiders, designers, retailers and stylists. Armed with these trade secrets, Amy helps clients rejuvenate
and replenish their wardrobe.
Prior to founding Shopping in Your Closet, Amy spent nearly ten years at Bergdorf Goodman as a personal shopper.
There, she helped customers from around the world navigate fashion choices and streamline shopping time.
Before that, she spent time at Tahari.
As a first step, Shopping in Your Closet will access and edit a wardrobe to maximize and enhance what is there already.
Following that, Amy can take her clients shopping to add a new dress, a smart suit, important separates and pivotal pieces to
bring freshness and new life to existing pieces.
"I like to call it Purge, then Splurge," said Amy. "Anything we discard goes to the charity Dress for Success, which makes it an
easy evolution."
As they work the aisles together, Amy teaches her clients how to shop for the most flattering silhouettes,
the most complimentary colors, and the best values. She helps to define personal style by providing experience,
enthusiasm and a discerning eye.
"I can makeover any body type to look great and help them to feel better about themselves that very day, " said Amy.
The fee for Amy's services is based on individual requirements. She encourages booking appointments at the client's
earliest convenience in order to conquer the new season before it conquers them.
Amy attended the New York School of Interior Design and New York University. She's been featured on WABC-TV Eyewitness News and Good Morning America; FOX-TV'S Good Day New York.
Amy currently lives in Manhattan with her husband and their Siberian Husky, Miles.
